Overall, I had a good stay at the San Antonio Marriott Riverwalk. We stayed here for a work trip, and the hotel was very accommodating by placing our group on the same floor with rooms right next to each other, which we appreciated. My room did have a few issues when I arrived. It smelled musty, the refrigerator was broken, and instead of a king-size bed, I had two double beds. That part was disappointing. However, when I called about the issues, the staff responded quickly and credited my account right away, which I appreciated. The view was breathtaking, and the location is excellent. The hotel is close to the Henry B. González Convention Center, the River Walk, and within walking distance of so many restaurants and attractions. Overall, it is a high-quality hotel in a great location, and despite the room issues, the staff handled the situation well. I would stay here again.

I highly recommend staying at the Marriott SA Riverwalk. From the moment we arrived, the front desk attendant, Destiny, made us feel incredibly welcome. Kudos to Destiny because she was extremely professional and thorough about all the hotel amenities. She thank us for our Marriott Bonvoy Rewards membership. We were awarded an amazing upgrade to a balcony room with Riverwalk view, WITHOUT us requesting it! Of course, upgrades are based on availability and upon member’s request. Destiny offered us to take advantage of the Destination Fee of $50 per room with access to a nice Member’s Lounge on the 28th floor and other benefits…100% recommend it!!! The assigned balcony room on the 24th floor was spacious and very clean. Earplugs are offered by the nightstand, as some guest have complained of the cars honking downtown during the Spurs Playoffs and upcoming finals…we didn’t need them at all (but we’re Spurs fans). The bathroom is a normal size with a convenient vanity area and a magnifier mirror. The shower and toilet private area was fine for us, just a bit tight due to the privacy door(that we prefer.) But, others reviewers found it as too inconvenient to their like. Shout out to Lupe and Yilanna at the lounge for their great management of the lounge and nice presentation of the breakfast buffet and hors d'oeuvres at a smaller scale than the restaurant…included in the Destination Fee…a spectacular Riverwalk and downtown view! Excellent and clean pool and fitness room. The bar lounge and staff were great and welcoming too. The hotel location is perfect for walking to ALL downtown attractions and Rivercenter Mall. The check-out team of Candice and Destiny were SUPERB. Thank you & we’ll definitely be back!

Stayed here for a business conference and overall I’d rate it 3 out of 5 stars. The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of the River Walk, the Alamo, and nearby shopping. For business travel, the location is hard to beat. The room was clean and modern, and I appreciated the smart refrigerator and TV with streaming options such as Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube. The biggest downside is the value for the price. For what you’re paying, the rooms feel fairly basic. There was no microwave in the room, which can be inconvenient if you want a late-night snack or leftovers without having to leave the hotel. Parking was another surprise at over $60 per day before taxes, which adds up quickly. Breakfast was also expensive at around $25 for a basic eggs, bacon, and coffee meal, while the $30 buffet felt more like an upgraded continental breakfast than a full buffet experience. The bed was also much firmer than I prefer. If you like a very firm mattress, you may enjoy it, but it wasn’t particularly comfortable for me. On the positive side, the view from the room was excellent, the hotel was clean, and the staff was professional. Overall, it was a decent stay, but the pricing and amenities didn’t quite match my expectations.

The front desk, restaurant and valet staff were all very professional, helpful and nice. There was a large convention in the area that we were not aware of but with all the activities the staff did an excellent job. The rooms were very clean and stocked with necessities. Keep up the good work. It was pricey but I guess to be expected with the convention in town. My family would have liked a microwave in the room but other than that the amenities were great. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was very nice and in a great location. Our room had a wonderful view of San Antonio. Everyone in the hotel was helpful and pleasant. We especially liked Lupe S., our server in the concierge lounge. She was knowledgeable about the area and gave us hints about preparing for the street celebration for the Spurs victory. She also cooked great breakfasts. Thank you, Lupe!

What a wonderful hotel in a great city! The location and views of the Riverwalk and surrounding city were beautiful during the day and stunning at night! All of our interactions with hotel staff were great. Everyone was pleasant and friendly. Special shout out to Lupe in the concierge lounge and staff at the concierge desk who offered great local suggestions that made our trip and stay memorable! We’ll be back!

I want to say that Ashunta Taylor that works in guest services is exceptional. I called around 10:00 p.m. to send a cocktail to my wife as a surprise. I didn't know how to do that until Ashunta helped me with it. My wife didn't answer the door. So I had to call Ashunta back to resend it. Her willingness to go above and beyond and help me with the surprise was outstanding. I hope management from the Marriott San Antonio Riverwalk know the have a great one in Ashunta!!! I have never stayed there, but with customer service like that it will be first on my list when I get to San Antonio.

Nice hotel but the rooms are so tiny and have no desks so not ideal for work trips. There is almost no soundproofing so we never slept well from all the loud noise on the street (we could hear every conversation happening outside and we were on the 12th floor). Also the AC caused us to get sore throats we were freezing the whole time. It is right across the street from the convention center which is why some use it. Very close to the riverwalk!! Staff is also very nice and helpful, facilitated and early check in for us.
